JOY-ful Wall Decoration

Two tinsel garland-wrapped letters plus one Christmas wreath spell out your joyful feelings for the season.

Step 1: Download, print, and assemble the “J” and “Y” patterns . Cut out the letters and transfer the shapes to pieces cut from the cardboard box. Then cut out the letters with a utility knife.

Step 2: Staple one end of the garland to the end of a cardboard letter. Wrap the garland around the shape of the letter, keeping the loops close enough to hide the cardboard. When you reach the other end of the letter, staple the end of the garland to the cardboard and trim off any excess.

Good to Know: If you have trouble covering a portion of the “Y” with tinsel, cut a small hole in the cardboard in that spot and pull tinsel through from the back to the front and over the nearest edge to cover the bare spot.

Step 3: Tie a bow to the wreath and attach the three decorations to the wall using 1-1/2-inch [3.81 cm] nails. Ours were spaced over a wall area about 5-ft [1.524 m] wide.
